Conversation is built up by many different building blocks of lots of different kinds of language programs including commenting, asking questions, sharing information and describing events, etc. We put together what we think are the most important programs when children have acquired quite a bit of language that led towards spontaneous conversations, initiating conversations and also being able to respond better in the context of conversation.

This program teaches a student recall using a visual aid such as pictures and choice board to understand the nature of the questions that people are asking. This is a beginner program for students that have learnt how to describe some events.

Commenting skills in play can be taught successfully if we have our systematic plan. The goal of this program is for students to be able to demonstrate the skill in natural setting (without priming and also with peers).
