Because of their lack of awareness and understanding of social cues and self control from things that attracting or distracting them in the community, some children with Autism may not display

appropriate and safe behaviors in the community. It often leads to parents or caregivers avoid taking them out as often to minimise the risk of accidents.

In order to maintain the quality of life for both the child and their family, it’s always the priority for the clinician to eliminate problematic behaviors in the community and teach them appropriate skills to stay safe in the community.
