Teaching our children receptive labels is a important step for them to learn more advanced language skills. In the lesson, the student will demonstrate his/her receptive language labeling abilities by finding the card that corresponds with the word spoken by the teacher. The main objective of receptive labels are: 1. Learn the name of objects, activities and concepts 2. Often the foundation of expressive labeling 3. Develop abstract reasoning (e.g., making deductions) 4. Facilitate attending skills DIY your own cards and take notes of the tips when teaching your child!
