Children with autism often struggle to learn social skills through their own natural experiences. The ever-changing nature of social play makes it impractical to explicitly teach children every necessary social ability. As a result, structured playdates have become a common approach to helping children with autism develop critical social skills.
In this course, we will share strategies for teaching the core social skills, while also share the learning abilities through structured social games and playdates. This approach helps them develop essential skills by learning through their own experiences in a supportive environment.
